Marine Stainless Components

Component-focused process review

Marine parts often combine sculpted stainless geometry, mechanical loading, corrosion exposure and visible surfaces. Investment casting can create the form, machining controls threads and fits, and polishing produces the specified appearance without treating cosmetic finish as a separate afterthought.

Common purchasing priorities

  • Saltwater, splash-zone or continuously wet exposure
  • Alloy selection for corrosion resistance and strength
  • Critical threads, pins, bearing seats and mounting faces
  • Visible-surface polish level and directional appearance
  • Crevice-prone joints and drainage features on the design
  • Protection of machined interfaces during polishing

Integrated supply

Casting, CNC machining and polishing can be managed together so visible finish, dimensional fit and corrosion-sensitive details are controlled on the same component route.

Start with the application

Provide the exposure environment, load, alloy, visible surfaces, polish requirement and the critical fits, threads or functional tests that determine acceptance.

Start with the drawing

Send the alloy, annual quantity and critical requirements.

Email is the fastest route for drawings and 3D files. The short form is available when email is inconvenient.

For the fastest drawing review, include:
  • 2D drawing / 3D file and revision
  • Material grade or service environment
  • Annual quantity or expected lot size
  • Critical tolerances, finish, inspection or pressure-test requirements
