Boundary-component validation

Pressure Testing Capability

Pressure and leak testing coordinated at the final relevant boundary condition defined by the drawing and validation plan.

Test the finished pressure boundary

Our inspection capability includes hydrostatic and pneumatic leak testing. For components where porosity, sealing geometry or wall integrity matters, the test route should be defined together with machining and final cleaning.

Test definition

A useful test requirement identifies:

  • Test medium
  • Test pressure and hold time
  • Acceptance criterion
  • Temperature and safety constraints
  • Porting, plugs and fixture responsibility
  • Test stage and reporting requirement

Pneumatic-test caution

Compressed-gas testing stores substantially more energy than hydrostatic testing. Fixture design, guarding and operating procedure must match the specified pressure and component volume. Hydrostatic testing is preferred where it satisfies the engineering objective.

From defect prevention to final evidence

Pressure tightness is not created by testing alone. Casting design, gating, process control, machining depth, sealing surfaces and cleaning all contribute to the final result.

Start with the drawing

Send the alloy, annual quantity and critical requirements.

Email is the fastest route for drawings and 3D files. The short form is available when email is inconvenient.

For the fastest drawing review, include:
  • 2D drawing / 3D file and revision
  • Material grade or service environment
  • Annual quantity or expected lot size
  • Critical tolerances, finish, inspection or pressure-test requirements

For drawings and 3D files, use direct email. info@chinaprecisionmetal.com.
